SUNDAY DINNER AT DEE'S PLACE

Dee had us over for Cream of Chicken soup (homemade)

rolls hot out of the oven, with a BLT salad with

a made from scratch lemon dressing. She sent the

leftovers home with us and I made the soup into a

chicken pot pie and served it to the other Senior Couple

serving with us on Temple Square, (the Sturgis). I

think she was impressed with my cooking skills......

thanks Dee you made me look great! One other thing

about feeding the Sturgis.......we played one.........

"Cut Throat" game of Pit after dinner.......and perhaps

that tarnished our image just a bit.....................

Snowy Day at the Bountiful Temple...

Our goal is to attend every temple

within the 100 mile radius of the

Temple Square Mission. This is the

Bountiful Temple about 15 minutes from

our apartment.......or as Trevor calls

it, "Your Cabin, Grandma!"

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DINNER WITH DEE....

Dee invited us to share her birthday

dinner at TEXAS ROADHOUSE with

her and the family. We ate steaks and

homemade rolls until we couldn't eat

anymore. This is one blessing for us

to get to share her special day with her.

We decided the last time we shared her

birthday dinner was when she graduated

from college.........Let's do this again

next year, ok?

Remembering SuperBowl 2010....

It was just a year ago we were enjoying

SuperBowl 2010 with Jennifer and

Travis.......I don't even know who is

playing this year......

Nothing like plenty of good snacks

to finish off our evening!

Days of Gloom.............

This is what they call "Inversion Problems" here

in Salt Lake City. They sit in a bowl surrounded by

mountains so the pollution rolls in and stays until

the next winter storm arrives. Sometimes the

pollution is so bad we can't see the temple across the

street. I think it is kinda cool to be honest.

I want one more ride in the desert...

How about just one more ride in the desert?

Tomorrow the high will be 27 and the low 11, and this

with a 70% chance of snow........Tena, how about just

one more ATV ride in the desert? What are you

doing August 2012?

Valentines Day 2010.....

I came across these pictures......and it made me a

little homesick for the Grandkids.......We love you guys!
