Early Saturday morning walk......

A Saturday morning stroll through our area. Love
the feel, smell, and tastes of fall. We explore by foot
all the unusual homes, store, and restaurants. Today
we found these adorable chairs hidden at the back
of a local eating establishment. Also, Darvin said,
"Make sure we get a picture of the pig statues for
Taylor. He'll like these!" If you are ever up this way
come walk the streets with us it is candy for the eye.

Transfer Days Come.........

Every six weeks, assignments change. Some of the
girls are sent outbound to various locations. Sister
Anderson from Sweden, was sent to Denver, Colo.
We also receive a new set of Sister to work with, but
oh, is it ever hard to say good-bye to the ones we
grew to love!

A SNOWY DAY.........

NEITHER SNOW, NOR SLEET, NOR
HAIL COULD STOP US FROM
HAVING LUNCH WITH DEE.
My favorite part was the appetizer.....
guacamole dip with hot chips and
various sauces.......Yum!
(by the way, that is snow on the bushes)

Mickey, Eli, & Ivy come for a visit..........

Ok, in my lifetime, I believe I shall never
receive a bigger surprize than this. Mickey
and the kids show up at the Beehive House to
surprize me for my birthday.

I just couldn't believe they were here. I had to
sort of pinch myself continually. We were so
entertained just watching the children play
with my silly gray scarf. The senior couple we
work with couldn't imagine that Mickey would
come all this way by himself with his two
children to visit for a day.

Lunch with Dee

Posted by Picasa
The weather was perfect for our lunch dates.......
and the area around Dee's school has the best
places to eat. One week we had orange chicken
at Pei Wei's and the next we had Italian
food at Spaghetti Mama's. They had this
apple cider vinegarette for their salad
dressing we especially loved. I believe I shall just
eat my way through Utah.

Jennifer, Travis, Trenton, & Trevor Visit....

We take the family for a few hours to the Olympic
Park in Park City, Utah. This is the 120 meter
ski jump in the background. Jennifer and Darvin
are going to do the bobsled together when they
come during the summer for a visit.
That is a ride of 6 G's force. I think I'll pass. I
noticed Travis didn't seem interested as well.

The weather was sunny and warm. The
conference city was still giving tours of their
unusual roof. It has a rather large garden on top.
Finally, no visit is complete without a trip to the
Deseret Book Store's candy department. We
have been here numerous times buying candy
for the Sister Missionaries.
